Product updatesChangelog
New features and improvements, newest first.
Scheduling
The schedule's Week view is now an hours grid, so a busy week reads at a glance.
- Seven days sit side by side on one time axis, with every appointment drawn at its start time for its full length.
- Each block shows the customer, the vehicle, and the start and end time.
- Closures are shaded, and any empty hour can be booked with one click.
- Technician filters narrow the week to one person or show the whole team.
- The dashboard schedule's Week view shows the same hours grid.
Scheduling
Choose how the calendar lays out your team: a lane for each employee, or everyone together.
- Sorted gives every employee their own lane, so you can see who is free.
- Mixed shows everyone in one lane, coloured by technician, with a legend to read the colours.
- Moving an appointment in Mixed changes its time only. It stays with the technician it was booked with.
- The choice is on the dashboard schedule and the schedule page's Week hours grid, and the app remembers it on each device.
Scheduling
An open appointment keeps itself up to date while you look at it.
- If a teammate checks the vehicle in while you have the appointment open, you see it without refreshing.
- Changes to the appointment, its project and its visit show up in the open window, and it refreshes again when you return to the tab.
Mobile AppScheduling
The dashboard schedule's header no longer crowds a small screen.
- On a phone, Day, Week and Month are one dropdown, and the layout and lane options share a single menu.
- When space runs short, the date controls move to their own row above the view controls.
Proposals & InvoicingCRM & Customers
Pre-made customer documents start from neutral wording, and customer emails show the Tintify footer once.
Documents
- Template documents no longer contain placeholder boxes for a shop to fill in. Each ships with neutral wording.
- The template importer and the document editor list the paragraphs a shop should review before sending.
Emails
- Customer emails no longer show the Tintify footer twice.
Proposals & Invoicing
Proposals use the tax rate from your own tax profile.
- Applying a proposal template keeps your shop's default tax rate instead of the rate the template was saved with.
- Proposal templates created by the importer use your default tax profile, and the import review names the rate it will apply.
CRM & Customers
Customer emails share one clean design with your shop's branding.
- Receipts, payment reminders, appointment holds, proposal approvals, review requests and more use the same layout, with your logo and contact details.
- Texts about a held appointment link straight to the proposal when there is one.
CRM & Customers
Customer texts reach the right person, and customers hear back when nobody can answer.
- Each employee can mark themselves Available or Away and set availability hours, and new-text alerts follow it.
- An automatic reply can go out when the shop is closed or nobody is available.
- Replies to leads that arrive after hours can be held until you open.
- Customer Messages is a text inbox. A customer's name opens their profile, conversations can be marked unread, and long threads load quickly.
Scheduling
All-day appointments now span the whole day.
- On the dashboard timeline and a customer's appointments tab, an all-day appointment spans the day instead of appearing as a short block.
IntegrationsProposals & Invoicing
Proposals can show your shop's most recent Google reviews.
- Choose a minimum star rating and a maximum review age for the reviews customers see.
- Reviews appear with Google attribution and a link to your listing.
- The section stays off until you turn it on.
CRM & Customers
Customers can tell at once who is texting them.
- The first automated text to a customer, and any automated text with a link, starts with your shop's name.
- A text the carrier could not deliver is marked failed in the conversation.
Fewer sign-outs, and no saving from an old version of the app.
- Sessions last up to 30 days, and the eight-hour inactivity sign-out is gone.
- An invoice or proposal left open on an older version of the app asks you to reload before it saves anything.
Proposals & Invoicing
The flat glass estimator saves reliably, and proposals fill in document fields for your customer.
Flat glass estimator
- Rooms, windows and film options save and reload reliably.
- Estimates can be deleted, and deleting a project removes its estimates too.
- A locked estimate explains why it cannot be edited.
Proposals
- Document fields such as your shop name and the customer's vehicle fill in on documents your customer opens from a proposal.
Mobile AppSchedulingProposals & Invoicing
Improvements across phones, check-in and proposals.
Phones and tablets
- The sign-in page fits every screen, from phones to wide laptops.
- The flat glass estimator keeps what you have typed if your phone locks or the app reloads.
- Sharing a customer's details and opening an invoice PDF work on the phone.
- Technicians get a push notification when an appointment is assigned to them.
Jobs and check-in
- Follow-up visits check in and out the same way as the first visit.
- Services you assign attach to the appointment every time.
- Dismissing a lead uses one list of reasons from the board or the side panel.
Proposals, invoices and Quick Sale
- Quick Sale shows the sales tax on the first step and sends it to the Square terminal.
- Proposal templates no longer offer services you have retired.
Help
- The Warranties page lists newest first, with summary chips you can filter by.
- Help Center articles are refreshed to match the app.
- Error messages say what happened in plain words and what to do next.
Proposals & InvoicingReporting & AnalyticsIntegrations
Invoices open for the right people, and exports and reports include every invoice.
Invoices and reports
- Anyone allowed to see invoices can open them, and a page you cannot open tells you so.
- Export CSV exports every invoice that matches your filters, not just the page on screen.
- Reports total every invoice in the date range you choose.
Checkout
- Vehicles are checked out from the paid invoice, in the same place payment is taken.
Texting
- Shops that send texts through their own Dialpad, Twilio or custom provider can send automation texts.
